Notice of Vacancies

The Private Secondary Education Authority (PSEA), a parastatal body established under the PSEA Act, operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to be considered for the following posts: –

The Application Form duly filled in and signed, along with copies of qualification, written evidence of knowledge and experience claimed, Birth Certificate, marriage Certificate (if applicable) and National Identity Card in sealed envelopes should be addressed to:

Candidates are also required to submit by email the ‘Particulars of Applicant’ ^* (in word format and specifying the post applied for) on the email addresses listed below before the closing date.

Note: Candidates unless in the Public Service or in parastatal organisations should not have reached their 45^th Birthday by the closing date of the submission of application.

Candidates who previously applied for the posts should submit fresh applications.

Closing date: 30 May 2024 (15.30 PM at latest)

Notice for Candidates

1. The onus for the submission of equivalence of qualification (if applicable) from the relevant authorities (Higher Education Commission or Mauritius Qualifications Authority) rests on the candidates. Applications will not be considered failing the non-submission of Equivalence Certificate, as appropriate, by the closing date.

2. Applications received at the PSEA after the closing date and time will not be considered.

3. Incomplete or inaccurate application will not be considered.

4. The post applied for should be clearly marked on the top left corner of the envelope.

5. Qualifications obtained after the closing date of the submission of applications will not be considered.

6. Eligible applicants will be required to produce their original birth certificate, marriage certificate (for married women) and relevant qualifications (original) along with photocopies if they are called for interview.

7. Failure to produce documentary evidence at time of application will lead to disqualification from the exercise.

8. Only the best qualified applicants will be called for interview.

9. Qualified applicants may be required to sit for an examination.

10. The PSEA reserves the right NOT to make any appointment following this advertisement.
